The best period for kitesurf in the region goes from August of one year to March of the next year, when trade winds blow from Northeast quadrant, getting stronger in the afternoon, with 25 knots of average speed. In the months of September through November is pretty common to have winds of 30 to 35 knots, sometimes more.
It’s sunny almost all year and the temperature varies between 25°C and 35°C. The water temperature is always around 28°C.
The geographical conditions of the region make up more than 10 epic spots for kitesurfing, most of them with extremely flat waters and only in few of them you run the risk of bumping into other kitesurfers.
